Audra Funk GENERAL COUNSEL & SENIOR DIRECTOR OF COMPLIANCE
Mrs. Funk oversees the compliance vertical at Revco Solutions and handles regulatory and compliance matters, consumer complaints, and litigation as well as general business matters including contract drafting and negotiation with customers and third-party vendors. Prior to joining Revco Solutions, Ms. Funk was in private practice for 15 years in the area of consumer collections with a focus on legal action recovery. She received her BA in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, Virginia) and her law degree from Capital University Law School (Columbus, Ohio), graduating with honors. Ms. Funk was a member of the National Order of Barristers at Capital. She is a member of the Ohio Creditor Attorneys Association (“OCAA” – where she served as Secretary from 2006 through 2017). Ms. Funk was a repeat panelist for the Ohio Judicial College on the procedural and evidentiary issues that arise in debt collection cases from 2008 to 2016. Ms. Funk has spoken for the Ohio State Bar Association concerning debt collection, presenting case law, and legislative updates on two prior occasions (2008 and 2011), and on the topic of Debt Settlement Companies in 2015. Ms. Funk participated in a panel discussion at the National Creditors Bar Association’s fall 2017 conference alongside fellow colleagues where they discussed whether different factual scenarios constituted violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. In the fall of 2018, Ms. Funk presented to the OCAA on the topic of “Attorney Demand Letters – Interest, Fees and/or Costs Disclosure Statements – to Disclose or Not?” Most recently, Ms. Funk participated in the Inside Arm’s working group to review and comment on the CFPB’s May 7, 2019 Notice of Proposed Debt Collection Rules.
