The experience patients have directly relates to a healthcare organization’s bottom line. That’s why team member John Cook started a podcast for healthcare administrators and healthcare staff members in January 2018. He called it The Patient Experience.
Now, that podcast is renamed to The Revenue Roundtable, expanding beyond the patient experience to a variety of topics relating to healthcare, finance, and improving the revenue cycle in many industries.
The name change is due to many factors, and naturally, COVID-19 is one of them. COVID put the show on hold for a few months. During that hiatus, John and other team members discussed whether the show should broaden its focus. John’s company also underwent changes, combining and rebranding to PRC (Revco Solutions).
The new show will still include a lot of material related to the unique business of healthcare. But other members of the team will also make appearances as hosts and guests, to address topics such as the financials of municipalities and other businesses.
